Plain-English terms for using Axly's Customs Wallpapers, including a detailed explanation of how sign-in works, because "magic link" sounds weirder than it is.

1. What this is

Axly's Customs Wallpapers is a tiered AI-generated wallpaper service. A new original wallpaper is published roughly daily. Each wallpaper is produced in five resolutions: desktop FHD (1920×1080), desktop QHD (2560×1440), desktop 4K (3840×2160), ultrawide (3440×1440), and mobile portrait (1080×1920).

The service is run by Axly's Customs (a one-person workshop at axly.com). By using this site you agree to the terms below.

3. How sign-in works (read this)

We never use passwords. Sign-in uses a one-click email link, a "magic link." Here's the whole thing in plain English:

To sign in (or sign up, same flow)

  1. Type your email into the sign-in form on the homepage.
  2. Check your inbox. You'll get a one-click link from wallpapers@axly.com.
  3. Click the link. You're signed in. That's it.

Your session

Your Pro subscription is tied to your email, not your device

This is the part people worry about: if you paid for Pro and then sign out, switch browsers, clear cookies, or get a new phone, you do not lose Pro. Your subscription lives with Stripe, attached to the email you used at checkout. When you sign back in with that same email:

  1. The server looks up your account by email.
  2. It confirms your subscription is still active in Stripe.
  3. You're Pro again, immediately. No re-payment, no customer service ticket.

You can be "signed in" on as many devices as you want simultaneously (each device has its own 30-day session), but you have one account, one Pro subscription, one email. Sharing the email with friends so they can freeload isn't cool (see section 5), but it's also technically possible and we trust you not to do it.

Changing your email

We don't have a self-serve "change email" flow yet. If you need to move your account to a new address (new job, new provider, changed your mind), email wallpapers@axly.com from the old address and I'll merge them manually.

Forgetting me entirely

There's no password to forget. If you want to sign out everywhere: sign out on each device, or email me and I'll invalidate all your sessions at once. To delete your account, email me and I'll remove your user record from the database. Your Stripe subscription (if any) will be canceled in the same step.

6. What I store about you

I don't sell data. I don't share it with advertisers. Sign-in emails go through Resend (a transactional email provider), and that's the only third party your email address touches.

7. Service availability

I aim for "reliably good" but can't promise 100% uptime. The backend runs on Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare Pages, which are very reliable, but occasional incidents happen. If the service is down for a meaningful stretch during a Pro billing period, email me and I'll credit or refund proportionately. On top of that, for every day the service is down, I'll upload two extra wallpapers once things are back. Consider it interest on your patience.

8. Changes to these terms

If the terms change in a way that affects existing subscribers materially (like pricing, refund policy, or how your data is handled), I'll email you before the change takes effect. Minor wording edits I'll just update in place.
